ZDX installed as of this morning! So far so good, just need to upload my latest calibration via Flashpro and take her for a test drive (probably tomorrow).

Here's a comparison of the maxbore 68mm vs ZDX. Hard to believe the maxbore is larger than stock as it is.

Started to have a few idle issues yesterday morning with the zdx that i never had with the maxbore. Also was unable to even start the car for some weird reason. After several attempts i was able to reflash with my latest calibration and she fired right up with no problem. All codes are now gone. The idle issue is minimal at best (jumps between 1200-1400 rpm). I drive over 150 miles per day with my work and only had the idle act up maybe 3-4 times all day so hardly noticeable. Appears that I just need to do the idle relearn procedure when i get time. Install took 45 minutes which was twice as long as expected. Unbelievable...I managed to reinstall the maxbore tb right after just taking it off, because I was thinking it was the new unit, hence the longer than expected install time. I'm sure it was quite a scene watching me yell and scream as I couldn't figure out why in the world my "new throttle body" wouldn't bolt up to the provided spacer. Then.....epic face palm.

You should inquire with Maxbore to see how much your zdx TB can be bored out. Then design a CAI accordingly!! Does the zdx TB match up to your intake manifold inlet?

The throttle body adapter provided by PRL / Axion is made for the OEM inlet. Maxbore already cleaned it up for the old setup by smoothing out the inlet and getting rid of the rough edges/flashing. I didn't have a caliper to measure the exact opening, but I can tell you that it's a clean transition between the tb/spacer/manifold.

Upgraded my Rick Spec'd Street Series Intake to their Rick Spec'd Intensity Intake (larger filter and velocity stack). Also picked up a pair of Boomba Mounts!

Here's a comparison of the intake that comes with the Rick Spec'd Street Series Intake vs the filter setup you get with the Intensity Series Intake.

Still tuning with Vit as we're on the 29th calibration. Might as well knock a few other things off the list.

what's the diameter on the filter!? What in the world does it hook up to .... it looks insanely wide at the opening

The bigger filter goes over the silver piece. Silver piece connects to piping/coupler. It is the same way the PRL SRI is set up.

The filter is definitely huge. I was quite surprised when I got mine.

took me surprise as well. I was barely able to get it to fit in the area behind the headlight. Having the ZDX TB + Spacer probably didn't help matters. That, plus trying to get the silicone coupler over the mouth of the ZDX was a source of constant frustration.

Those pulleys make any difference? I've been thinking of getting some skunk2 pullys. And how much you putting down on the dyno?

pullies are still on backorder since March. I've got my order in, but haven't gotten them as of yet. To my understanding Skunk2 doesn't make pullies for our cars. The only vendors that currently provides pullies for the k24 platform are Buddy Club, NST, and Unorthodox Racing. In regards to the dyno figures, I'm still in the middle of tuning with Vit. Uploaded my 30th calibration this morning as of matter of fact.
