this was not on full boost is over 20pds on a stock turbo -that is very good. On another turbo these engine hold over 50 pds for a good amount of time. You won't find another engine matching the srt-4 under boost made out of alu.

Well it doesn't really matter as I don't want a boost car other than the one I am trying to sell. The honda si is good almost the way it is except for a nice exhaust, I don't want to ruin it with a lot of dum things that make the car un drivable. Running 41pds though a honda is asking for a new engine.

many lack of detail's, did they take the engine apart after and check for damage. How long at 41 pds, the engine most likely wouldn't last very long. it's not built to take that much abuse. Sure a few runs it might work ok. I wouldn't want a engine to blow up in my face. Still donot have engine specs on, That video shows total incompetence lucky they didn't get seriously hurt by a blown engine shooting parts at them. kinds of remind me .

They just kept upping the boost till it went boom. You saw how long it lasted on 42psi. I recall reading the thread somewhere maybe on hondatech when it happened. I recall other videos where it was in the 20’s upward till it blew. I’m sure they are still around, but I don’t feel like looking. They just wanted to see how much it would take and see what failed.

The tiny L15 stock motor makes 20.5 from the factory and the K20C FK8 makes 22.8 on the tiny factory turbo.

There is tons of information on the web about HOP, and frankincense builds like the G23 and specs. You just got to dig CHH is a good website to start on to get part numbers and Jspecauto.com used to be a good one back in the early 2000s. You can also go to the book store and pick up a honda build book.

A honda build book is a good idea, that's what got me to buy a srt-4 -it was the Mito g63 engine that makes the car special. These cars can be found fairly cheap. I don't think I am going to sell it ,so it going to cost me more dough ug. the throttle cable is like a special part fits only these cars not the other neons. Napa didn't have one, modern performance does -a very good site.

Ok seems like honda is sneaky fast , those cars weigh next to nothing.
Perhaps need to select some limits here-stick to every day cars that people with not much dough use
that's where Honda's and Srt-4 shine-they are reasonable price car that actually still get good MPG
I don't want to drive anything that drinks gas like a piggy. Great gas mileage and speed do not usual work together, but some cars do both-not many. The Honda si which I drive today 90 miles ton the common ground fair on fast back roads was a lot of fun. Its quite sporty and eats little gas and I love the sunroof that sides into the roof, the 2 door coupe looks so much better to me-I hate the four door look. The Honda is extremely good in wind that improve the mpg's a lot. Si ate about 3 gals of gas going 90 miles with some vtec going on-not bad at all 30mpg-I was using 4th and 5th no 6th gear. I bet on the hwy I will see maybe 35mpg.

New SRT-4 OEM throttle cable modern performance $73 coming from TX priority Mail.This part not at Napa and is a special part as only 13,000 srt-4 were made in 2004 the best year. Next qt panel rust repaireven modern performance ran out of the throttle cable-they had to order one from dealer-Looking at Saturday deliver. Oh well don't wan to drive it any way LOL! Only my two Honda's don't give me headache's

I got a ticket this year from a cop who was hiding behind someone house down a big hill. I was going 15 over but it was because I was in neutral going down a large hill.

No such thing as entrapment, at least here. They can hide there car completely. Some times you will see a cop out of his car on a bridge clocking people on the highway or they hide on the hill or in the woods. **** we have so many unmarked cop cars it is nearly impossible to tell some times.

radar detectors are legal in 49 states, perhaps you should get one. They are very effective here if you have a good one. How much did it cost you? I am fighting my tickets win or lose? Plead guilty,well I never do? defense driving course here saves dough-10% off insurance and -3 points. Going to get it done very soon -the driving course AAA online. Every state is different. You have to show doubt your not guilty to win here-at least they give you a shot at winning, some states don't. I am supporting mine with two expert witness and physical evidence. This is the kind of stuff that should win if the judge has any fairness at all-here they at least give you a chance to win in any case even if I lose, I will have zero points on my record but are facing fines. I am not going do stupid stuff any more, I was all ready doing this but not fast enough. All of a sudden it a cop trap every where tinted glass 35% the max is a good idea too.
