My design might be limited to non hood taping. Hoods gets pretty damn hot....not sure how the tape will come off with out too much residue being left behind.

I already see the life of my wax deminish by alot compared to the rest of the car. Weird, eh?

Not really....it gets hot from driving.

My friends 330ci gets stupid hot from just street driving. I can't believe how much heat is held in the engine bay when you open the hood.

Yeah, it is pretty crazy. It heats up from any kind of driving.
