The light pattern. Philips would not release these bulbs in North America without having them tested. They are too big of a target for NHTSA, DOT, etc..

Just got some pictures of the Philips 7443 LED bulb installed in a Lexus GS:

Correct! However, if you install them in a turn signal application then you would need a load resistor to simulate a load.

What application are you thinking of installing the bulbs in? What year is your vehicle?

2014 civic lx sedan, wanted to replace the inner rear parking light(doesn't light up when the brakes hit), turn signals in the front, and the drl(high beams I guess technically)
