Thoughts on a black matte gas door on my white 9g?

I have a white 9g civic lx with matte black hubcaps, blacked out taillights, black emblems on the front and rear, and I was toying with the idea of dipping the gas door now too. However, I wasn't sure whether this would look too tacky, or if it would be another nice modification to the car. So, I wanted everybody's input on this. Thanks.

Your ride, your rules. But if it was me, I wouldn't. Sometimes there is "too much of a good thing".

I've also been thinking about doing this as well by plasti-dipping.
For those who does this, do they plasti dip or wrap, or actually paint it?

You can do it with any of those options. A piece of vinyl or plasti is a good way so you can go back to stock without any damage later. I don't think I've ever seen someone say they truly "painted" theirs.

Same as webby said. Vinyl wrap or plastidip are both easily removable and won't damage the paint underneath. Just depends on preference really
