I installed my d2's last week on my 2012 Si coupe.
My goal was not to "slam" the car it's to improve the handling. I am currently not running a rear camber kit.

All I did was install the coilovers, lower about 2 and 1/2inch on all 4 corners and set to full stiff.

The car feels more nimble, and a bit bouncy (not to bad, was smooth on full soft). But in hard turns the bounce makes the car seem less stable... I am going to buy a eibach rear sway and spc rear camber arms.

I just wish I knew how to set up a coilover suspension for optimum handling. After all... this is the D2 street kit... I know that I'm going to have to wait and buy a high end set once availble. but surely this set is better then stock?

To those running the d2's what are you thoughts? what are your settings?

Car looks good man! Larger rear sway will help so will the camber arms.

I don't run d2's but bounce may suggest you are hitting off the bump stops? Or that the damper cannot control the oscillations of the spring. How old/how many miles on them? Id be surprised if they were worn out. Might need to raise it up a little. A 2+" drop is pretty significant.

I think the best handling on the 8th gens was achieved around 1.6" of drop.

I'd suggest starting by raising your car up a bit and see how it feels. Obviously the look is going to change a bit but I think perhaps you have just slightly exceeded the performance/looks balance point.

As far as camber for performance -1 to -1.5 on the front and 0 toe. -1ish on the rear. Very mild adjustments over stock. Camber does not eat your tires, toe does. (As long as you aren't running like -7 to fit a 17x9" +15 wheel)

Put em both to -1.5 if you want serious improvements. (-2 and -2.5 for raceday)

Thanks for all the advice. I will order the rear sway bar friday and possibly the camber arms aswell. Once the parts arrive i'll go back to that shop and have them install and then set the suspension to those settings.

I hope I'm not bottoming out the suspension... it's brand new not even 125 miles on it as of today. In fact it shouldnt even be broken in yet. I may raise the front back up a quarter inch... the rear looks and feels good. All the fuss and bumps seem to be coming from the front.

It may be hard to see in my pic but the front is just a bit lower... I can get my fingers in between the wheel well and tire in the rear but my knuckle catches in the front.

I will say that the 9th gen is SEXY!! I park right next to a 96 hatch and and 04 ex coupe at work... this car makes them look real bad.:corngrin:

Cool man. Yeah try raising up a little bit until the bumpyness goes away. I didn't think there was a chance they would be worn. The nice thing with coilovers is the adjustability until you get it right where you want it!

The drop should not affect the travel of the suspension in the slightest. The ride height adjustment is completely separate from the travel of the shock (or spring for that matter). The bouncy feeling you're experiencing is because you have the dampers set too stiff and because these are $1000 coilovers that are not of the highest quality. Are they better than stock? Surely, but that isn't really hard to do since the stock '12 Si suspension sucks so bad (entirely too soft).

I, personally, have the rear spring preload just about as stiff as it can possibly go and the rear dampers set a little less than half way hard. In the front, I have some preload on the springs and have the dampers set about half way hard. It rides pretty smooth, but it is a tad bouncy as well, although I don't think it's as bouncy as my brother's completely stock EX coupe.

I plan to dial in a little more preload on the front springs and stiffen the dampers in the rear once i get new tires and rear camber adjusters and a new alignment. Which reminds me: I sincerely hope you've gotten an alignment. The rear will be toe'd WAY out when you lower it, so your tires will get eaten up quickly.

They can go much lower. I am lowered about 2 inches. I'm sure these can go to 4 inches no prob... basicly you can make the rim touch the fender, If thats what your going for.
