If they get damaged because you took the tint off I doubt it. It's not a manufacturers defect.

I'd go to a reputable shop and have it removed. If you have the money I'd get the tint re-done at a reputable shop. As for the defroster.. Like @webby said it won't be covered under warranty because it was at the fault of the installer (or you removing it).
