DIY Trunk Pop Up Higher

I added a hybrid spoiler and reverse camera/wires so my trunk is quite a bit heavier than stock.
Very simple DIY if you would like to get your trunk to pop a little higher.

Takes about 60 seconds. haha. Took me 30 minutes to figure out the best positioning though.

Needed Materials
2 short Bungee chords



Just need to attach bungee chords as shown. One on the left side and one on the right.

This may help you, Check out the diagram for the 2012 Civic SI Trunk Springs. Check the weight of your add ons + Trunk weight, then the same with the Si setup. IF the weight is close, you can get the Si trunk springs. But of course, if a bungee strap doesn't bother you, you already have the cheapest solution ;)

I believe the springs changed when the bigger spoiler was added as well. So, that could be a route as well.
