Oh! I understand now. I think I would go with a CAI. The water it sucks up would be useful to cool the new Fusion reactor powerplant.

you LOSE hp with a SRI is what I heard. "hot air intake"

Not even. I'm gonna run an extra line from my A/C compressor to a second evaporator. Then, I'll have my intake pull air through the evaporator, giving me a constant 38 degree intake temperature, thereby supercooling my intake. I call it the RRCAI. Really Really Cold Air Intake!!

Well what ever you go with make sure to wrap it in tin foil. It will keep the air cooler.

btw.... does anyone know the name of the company that sells the intake manifold that connects to the A/C compressor?? i heard it gave an extra 250whp/300wtq to a single-cam non-vtak civic....

No, I think he means the tornado intake. I saw it on ebay. Guaranteed horse power for really cheap!

I heard the 9th Gen are all hybrids and must be plugged in to hit vtec.
