Bought dukoral for the family in preparation for Mexico. I hope the $500 was worth it. I just took my first dose. Most expensive drink I've ever had. My health benefits from work don't cover this drug.

You take it to help prevent cholera and travellers diarrhea. I’ve not had it.Never heard of it.
How did you know? Google'd it or took it before?

It's 85% effective against it. Since it's infects you with a mild does of the toxin the side effect can be diarrhea and stomach cramps. I seem to have those right now. We're only going for a week so I'd rather not take chances getting sick.
