17" light weight wheels !

volk racing is not gram lights

gram lights is only around $400 a rim

i don't understand why didn't you go with advan tires ?
 
I saw 57ds on the net for 450 a piece, for example Evasive Motorsports. In California so I guess shipping and maybe import fees would make them way more expensive for us Canadians.

that is retail, i help several people pick up gram lights locally & they save at least $300 a set..
 
18.6lb tires with 13.2lb wheels is insanely light. There will be a very noticeable difference in the way the car drives.
 
That's pretty crazy light.... I should weigh a stock 15" steel wheel combo one of these days to see what it ends up at. I have a feeling that going to 17's in my case should shed a few pounds.

Definitely. It would be similar to the wheels/tires on a bicycle. Lol.
 
Thats very lightweight. I'm sure you will notice a difference. The stock tires weigh 22 pounds , not sure what the stock rim weighs. Anyone want to weigh it?.
 
The stock Si wheels are around 24lbs. So it would be over 10lbs in difference comparing stock wheels/tires with these wheels/tires.
 
24(stock wheels)+22(stock tires)=46lbs. 13.2+18.6=~32lbs. 46-32=14lbs per corner.
 
Yep, over 10 lbs per corner. That's almost 60lbs lost.
