If you ever had to brake for turn 1-2 @ Roebling Road, or turn 10a @ Road Atlanta, I think you would probably tolerate the PFC brake dust! LOL

If I were doing track days or still attending autocross events I'm sure I would deal with the brake dust. Since I've moved into the Si I'll stick to tamer brake pads to keep dust down

In other news, brakes should be done soon :domokundance:

Understandable but with my stlye of driving its alittle agressive at times and i can feel the car roll in a way dat the body feels like its goin 1 way and the wheels another ...
I need a drop it needs to be closer to the ground for me lol
Dont get me wrong i love driving it but i see where it needs improvement soooooo...

Lighter wheels & good tires
Decent drop sway bars and or strut bars
Cold air intake
Exhaust shopping for this still

But this is my winter list so ill keep u guys up to date

Like I said man I have a simple setup, HFP springs, Tokino struts, SI rear sway with new Honda end links, 05 TL wheels (17X8) with 225/45/17 with Continental DW's I spent around 2K for the whole setup.

It makes a wonderful comfy DD but when in the twisties it wakes up and makes the car very fun to drive. There is a pic that I am gonna buy from killboy of me almost tripoding then car, I was able to keep up with most of the people in the twisties with no problem. Yes the car wanted to still roll but it was a predictible roll that could be easily corrected and if I did get into a corner too hot my car tires just screeched louder and the car told me I was too fast...

Tires, tires, tires; I still wonder how the WRX would've been with star specs, but I kept the stockers on to keep me in check ;)

Yeah i dont wanna go all crazy either i just want a nice simple setup too i mean im not goin track racing lol

Hey dat might have been a good idea death i know i can get alil too carried away too when i have too much confidence in the car somtimes every1 needs a lil reminder dat our machines can only do so much u know .

And dat "It's all about the driver" :coffee:
yeah dat too BUT if ur an expierienced driver with all seasons and soft suspension the driver and car can only do so much
cant make a car drive like its on rails if the car is NOT set up like its on rails ...:coffee:
and an 8th gen si sit lower stock for some reason the 9th they made the ride alot softer wich i dislike alot
so all in all i understand the whole its about the driver theory which is only half the battle the setup on the car is the other half ...
we dont expect jeff gordon to get into a smart car and win the freakin cup right lmao
just food for thought cause it kinda seems like every1 thinks i just got my lisence lol i used to have a 91 teggy DD dat ran mid 11"s all day everyday and b4 i did my mods on it stock motor it ran 16's -17's :bleh: some cars just cant handle like others no matter how good of a driver u are so now dats when u gotta mod it a tad so it can handle the way u want it too
im not sayin im the greatest driver but i know how to drive..

the car and the driver have to be 1 and if dat dosent happen then its not gonna be dat fun of a drive in my eyes :driving:
