2012 Civic Coupe EX Build

Really appreciate all the replies. I'm just hoping it won't be too much is what I'm afraid of, but it does look subtle so hopefully it should be fine. I'll be breaking down the door panel and getting to that later today. I will likely start off with doing both a pillars and then the coin pocket under the traction button I'm going to wrap in the black plastic leather. Painting it would be a pain and I don't want the paint to puddle up in the bottom and it is hard to get a even coat.

After: Doesn't really turn out good on camera

I messed up when I was drilling out the holes and yes yes, I know I f'd up. I drilled through my door panel. Lesson learned, trial and error. It is what it is. Learning experience. Trying to think of a fix I can do, maybe silicone inside the hole and then paint over it?

Sounds like that would work to me. Especially once it's black. It could hide that pretty well.

nearly done. Thoughts? JB weld does not work at all to stick the plastic tabs back together. I can't put anything back together until I figure this out. Maybe a quick process to heat and melt the plastic together instantly?

I was referring to the parts that you have to drill out. I tried JB weld, but that did not work. To my surprise a cheap glue gun with glue sticks worked much more effectively and everything is actually holding together.

I was about to say that plastic welding them together would create a good bond but it looks like you figured it out!! You're interior is coming together nicely

Their the best! The instrument panel didn’t pan out. It has the blue film rendering it useless. It uses plastic spanning from one side to another and the bars in the middle sticks out and the leds flow through that. I did however come across something great today.

Yeah those seats were filthy! I had to give them a good wash and scrubbing with some Super Clean. Would anyone be able to send me a clip of their car with the fan on and off? Mine is rather loud and I don't believe it should be that loud, but it is. Everything works, but I feel like it should be on the quieter side as if you can't really hear anything. I had changed out the AC Compressor last year or the year before, but not with OEM.

I ordered the trunk insulator today. I went to drill the holes for the tabs since they were not there and I ended up drilling too far putting a small noticeable dent on the trunk. Totally bums me out, I feel like anything I try doing just puts me back. :(

I can’t tell where it’s dented on my phone, but hang in there. See if you can find a paintless dent repair person in your area that is reputable. They can usually get rid of hail damage, door dimples and stuff without issue. It also shouldn’t cost very much either.

It looks like a little dimple, about half way up and centered in the photo. That is a relief it doesn't cost much and hopefully nothing happens with the paint. Just really not trying to have more imperfections than I already have. Thanks Webby! Also, I have been meaning to ask you this for a long time, but what do you drive? Don't think I have ever seen your car.
