Def is a si. Odd that the steering wheel emblem is gone. It may have a cigarette burn in the drivers seat? Pictures aren’t the most clear so it’s hard to tell.

Don’t know if it’s worth 15K, I went to the dealership and they just said what car you looking for and I told them and they just gave me the key and never said another word.

I feel like that wasn’t cared for or there is more to the story? Maybe it was in a wreck and the airbags deployed & the badge came off? I realize the Carfax is “clean”, but that means almost nothing. There are tons of auto shops that don’t report to carfax. The swapped wheels don’t really make much sense either. It looks pretty dirty, but that can obviously be cleaned.

I had more photos to post which I’ll try to send later, but I was just shocked at the condition of this car. It deserves so much better. Talking about deep scratches and a dent or ding on nearly every part of the body and the rims were curb rashes big time and it’s a smokers car. I don’t know the story, but yeah the carfax doesn’t match up to neglect this car has.

The worst thing is I called to follow up and he had no idea about any of the damages. I mean come on the driver side fog light was actually cracked and his excuse for the inside being dirty is “it gets really bad here we’re located, it’s always like this”

Well if they put those wheels on it and lowered it.. who knows what else they did. I'd be looking for a car that's close to stock as possible (or at least put back to stock).

I completely agree with you. I’m finding out that finding a SI is pretty hard. I don’t really know what a fair value is for what I would be getting and don’t want to overpay.

Mathis Civic has a minor fender bender on the rear, the AC doesn’t work and the air bags are on which is why they said their at 19.5, they wouldn’t budge at all.

Kbb has tools showing what price a car should sell for. Just put in the year/make/model/mileage and it can give you a pretty accurate value

without using your zip code, and adding no additional options, kbb -

the “range” is based on the cars condition/color for the most part, as well as maybe the quantity available for sale. If everyone is looking for one and only 10 are available, the price can be higher.

That’s crazy that it is actually listed at fair market value. Would you even consider buying it at that price of 22k? I can probably get it for 23k, but not sure if I feel it is worth it? Still looking for other SI’s and maybe looking at some other cars.

I haven’t followed the used market enough to know what is really “fair”, or what stuff is really selling for. To me it seems crazy high for what it sold for new, and the fact that it’s 6 years old.

Those are the two facts I’m caught up on too. I just can’t see that price even if it is apparently market value.

What other cars that are stick shift are fun to drive similarly to the SI? I’m not too familiar with them, maybe some users can share what they’ve had and enjoyed.

Pull up autotrader.com and search for si models in coupe/sedan (whatever you want or both) and set your zip code, and set the distance to search to like 50, then 100 miles or whatever and look at the results. I don’t know what’s most important to you, but there are definitely some si models well under that price within 100 miles of your city.
