2013 Honda Civic Redesign Info - Updates Inside

The 13 coupe Si exterior is identical to the 12. Wheels are the only change & I prefer the 12. Dash is really the only big change on them..

How unhelpful of you to say that to all of the good people here who own 2012s.
One could say that personally, some whole countries seem .... cheap to me ... i don't know... there's "no connection" between the 2012 Slovenia and me :). But that would be just as unhelpful.

Look, I didn't want to be rude or something. A lot of people were "not impressed" by the 2012. Maybe consumer reports, cars.com etc? I just wanted to say that I like the 2013 more. How unhelpful is if somebody on this very forum says that he/she thinks the 2013 rims sucks? This is an opinion which I respect. Even if I like those rims ;)

Forums are a place wheres people say what they think. I really don't pretend everyone will have the same opinion.
Criticizm is often the main force behind evolution. I take crriticizms - for example about my point of view - very seriously, as it is a good source of information and you can learn a lot because critics look at the same "cup of tea" from a different point of view and can show (me) also the other side - which is very interesting and usually very helpful.
Take for example Honda - they listened to critics and they made the 9th Civic a much better car.

I agree - there are some .. who are offended by the criticizm and try to offend back by giving political comparisons. And yes. THIS is unhelpful as it doesn't lead to anything good :) :) :)

Fair enough. And I LIKED the Yugo, back when Slovenia was Yugoslavia. The car was a GREAT idea, but got a bad rap. Cheers!

Very nice post! Glad to see well written and articulate posts.

By the way - One car magazine in Europe (Italy) made a table with new/restyled models which will be coming out this year (they do this "calendar" every year). To my surprise they placed the presentation of the Honda Civic (9th) wagon in September 2013. I don't know if the date is real (in September there is the Frankfurt motor show on which also the 9th gen euro civic was presented 1,5 years ago). If it is it would be a nice surprise to see it :)

The 9th gen Si would make a great little sport wagon!

My only gripe about this is numbers don't lie. If a lot of people were "not impressed" with the 2012 I don't think it would of outsold almost every 8thgen year. Something like 50% better sales than 2011, jus sayin.

And the critics they listened to aren't exactly the ones buying Hondas. But I respect your opinion and your right to voice it. Viva la 'merica!!

I agree. There are more 2012 civics sold as the 8th gen. BUT - You have to bear in mind 2 things (at least 2):
1. 2008-2010 - recession
2. Sale numbers usually aren't linear with the fact "how good" a car is (how good meaning quality of materials, driving feeling, ...).
proof: Would you say an Aston Martin DB9 is a worse car than the Civic? Because they are sold in muuuuuuch less numbers ;)
another (more down to earth) proof: Would you say a BMW M3 is a worse car than the Civic?

I'm really curious what kind of car will "be born" :)

You can see all kinds of variations on the web. Some are derivatives from the 2012 civic, some from the EU 2013 Civic (http://www.topspeed.com/cars/honda/2014-honda-civic-wagon-ar135608.html)

If Honda released this as a picture of a Civic wagon, it's dumbfounding. What's wrong with this picture? Anyone?

I'm tempted to jump in here, but no, I've seen op over and over and over in life. I'll :) and move on.

I see your logic, but it seem like your comparing apples to oranges. Either way I like my car more than any other civic to date. Sure there are some short comings, but its an economy car, so I didn't expect too much.

Don't get me wrong. I like the 2012. I think this shape of the exterior will be long lasting! And I always am a fan of tech in Honda's interior
