Anyone here a beer advocate?

Costco doesn't have Shiners Oktoberfest anymore. And it's not even October yet....What gives?

So I bought a 24-pack of Blue Moon.

Coming back. :excited:

What? What does it taste like?

Yuengling’s Ice Cream was started during Prohibition to help supplement the brewery. The two companies have family ties but aren’t officially affiliated.

According to its new Facebook page, Yuengling's Ice Cream plans to release ten flavors, including classics like vanilla, chocolate and mint chocolate chip, as well as vanilla fudge chunk with pretzels, chocolate fudge brownie and root beer float.

There will also be a "Black and Tan" product, which will be chocolate and caramel ice cream as a nod to the Yuengling beer variety of the same name.

I'd eat Black&Tan and drink Black&Tan right after. :drooling:

Oktoberfest is in September.

But yes, seasonal beers seem to dissapear as quick as clothing trends. Want shorts in the middle of the summer? Oh, sorry, only fall flannels and corduroy pants available now. Haha.

It's still September. :sadbanana: Costco has Sam Adams Octoberfest 24-packs, but I decided not to get it.

Yeah, it's crazy how quick seasonals are off the shelves in their respective season. They always come out early and are off the shelves early.

So I bought a 24-pack of Blue Moon.

Saw this the other day

I wonder how a Black & Tan float would taste with this ice cream? :giggle:

Drank a sick amount of beer this weekend.

Yesterday, had a Bells Two Hearted Ale, a Sierra Nevada Flipside IPA, a Flying Dog Double Pale Ala, an Orval, a few Yuenglings, and two new beers from a local Morgantown brewer (both of which were VERY good). One was a Belgian pale ale (similar to Duvel or Orval) and the other was a wheat beer. Very similar in style to Blue Moon but way better.

And today... woke myself up for the WVU game with a nice Old Rasputin at 8:00 am. Promptly followed by a bomber of Stone Ruination IPA and a boat load of other random beers.

Safe to say I;m all beered out for the moment.

i miss those summer days when i was a little younger blowing an entire day drinking. keeping a nice buzz all day long

:yeahthat:

Although, for me it was pink lemonade and vodka on the beach, playing with the ladies during the day, then party at night.

BTW, pink lemonade and vodka makes your clothes fall off.

I had a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale last night at the Cheesecake Factory. It was overpriced, but good. I also had a Sam Adams Lager.
