Anyone here a beer advocate?

Highest rated IPA I've ever had. Pretty damn good. $20 a six pack though. This is a once in a while type of thing, especially considering there are IPAs I still prefer at $12 a six pack.

Yep lol Not cheap.

The way I look at it, you go out to a bar your paying that much... or at least close to it for a bud light. I don't feel nearly as bad paying $3.50 a bottle for something really good. I'm obviously not going to do it all the time, but but once in a while, it's worth it. Especially for stuff I've never had before.

That's a good point. It does cost as much as a normal beer on tap at many bars.

It's a very good beer, don't get me wrong, but I don't think it's worth the price. There are plenty of IPAs both from San Diego, and other places, that I find better and cheaper. It's definitely worth a try at least once though if you ever can get it.

Annnd... I'm officially in love with this beer. It is HANDS DOWN the best stout I've ever had, and borderline my favorite beer of all time. This is surprisingly the first year I've ever had it. I'm really hoping I can find more.

I like their stuff. Biased of course (used to live a couple miles from the brewery).

I am aging some Bigfoot right now. Might need to get some Celebration.

Lucky. I'd be there all the time :giggle: I wouldn't say that's biased... SN is just really good. I'd go as far as saying as they might be the best brewery in the United States. No other brewery matches their quality and out put. They do every style wonderfully. Bigfoot is good. Narhwal is good. As is Hoptimum, Stout, Kellerweis, Poter, etc, etc lol

I also had this year's Northern Hemisphere Harvest and Devestation Ale and both were very good. I love the fresh hop ales Sierra Nevada does like Celebration and NHH.

I had some if their Oliva Quad earlier this summer. It was good for a quad.

They're opening a second brewery in South Carolina. Ken and company are expanding \o/

For anyone that home brews, you can get the recipe for any Sierra Nevada beer and try it out for yourself. I'd love to try out some of my favorites from them... just to see how much worse mine was :rotfl:
