Anyone here a beer advocate?

One of my favorite beers at the moment. I'm a huge IPA guy, and this is one of the best from a local brewery in PA.

I also love ipa's.Hop devil is awesome but my fav is Stone Ruination.

This is one of my favorite beers from stone

It's delicious and very reasonably priced. It is the perfect Belgian style IPA for me. Very easy to drink. I bought one bottle when I saw it to try and since then I haven't seen it again. I wish I would've bought 5 or 6.

I have to say Stone makes some great beer. I broke down and paid $20 for a 6-pack of their oaked arrogant bastard... and it was totally worth it.

Another odd-ball that I like to get sometimes... Taiwan Beer! I mostly like the can and the name. It's totally tasteless but not in a bad miller/coors/bud sort of way.

Ukranian beers are always good too! I like Obolon. This one usually makes people not want to drink it because of the name.

Anyone want some Bile? (it just means white, as in unfiltered. It's their version of bluemoon)

Looks like any other wheat beer.

Im not a big cider guy but this one was ok and little different since it was pear and not apple.

The funny thing about Kirin gold label is that if you read the back - it's brewed here by Anheuser-Busch under supervision of Kirin master brewer.

It's basically tweaked bud with a different label. They keep all the good stuff there for them selves and let us brew our own swill. That said, it's not bad.

A couple of my favorites. They're both from North coast brewing. Blue Star is a wheat beer and PranQster is a Belgian. Pretty much anything this brewery has out there is worth a try. Most bars where I'm from run out regularly.

Checking in.. I love beer.. All types.. And as the OP said cheap beers do serve their purpose, and most people are not buying miller lite( my favorite cheap beer by far, it's delicious :) ) for the taste..

We have a Yardhouse about 10 minutes from home and it's awesome to have so many beers on tap..

I got it made though, there is a liquor store right down the street from me that sells a **** load of craft beers.. Even have a few local brews there too.. The price is worth it most of the time I think..

Did I say I love beer??

I've had the PranQster and it is very good. I've had it on draft once but haven't seen it again since.

Yeah stuffs hard to come by sometimes. Some places have it one week and the next they have no idea when theyll have it again. Might have something to with them being clear over on the west coast and im in the east. This link may help you find it if you want some.

Thanks. I'll keep on the look out.

About to head out to the bar. Unfortunately, It's $3 long island night. So I don't think I'll be dabbling in any beer tonight :giggle:

I lied. Had a terrible miller lite draft, Yuengling draft, and delicious goose island IPA draft.
