Bonsai anyone?

When you said Bonsai, I was thinking Banzai.

lulz.....I must try this squirrel fishing.

I had to bring my tree inside...it's 102-110 outside today
It was starting to look a little irritated

This past weekend was almost unbearable, i had gone up to Orlando and walking around the parks was unbelievably hot and SUPER HUMID!

My mom took mine to her house to try to take care of it better than I was. It was getting some brown at the base of the foliage and squirrels were constantly diggin in the dirt.

awww

Here is my redwood japanese maple this year. Not really a bonsai but yeah. It's being weird this year lol

definitely sounds like fertilizer burn, i'd go ahead and prune the roots and some shoots to promote new growth

That reminds me of the panda that walked in to the cowboy bar and ordered a steak, upon finishing his meal he drew his gun and fired a shot into the air, and then started to leave the bar, when the bar tender asked the panda why he did that?
The panda said, " I'm a Panda, look it up"...........

So the bartender looked up Panda, where it said "Panda's are marsupials, and eat shoots and leaves" ...........

I think that's my biggest problem :rotfl: trying to figure out what to make it look like.
hmmm Orlando...i'll be down there at the beginning of July

Thanks :wavey:

Find a picture of one you like, and try to copy it ???????

I just don't know what to make it look like still :rotfl: I just don't see anything in it o_0 If it had some sort of form that I could see...I'd keep up with it..but it doesn't seem to have much of a direction to me

I left my bonsai in the house for a while and it lost half its leaves. I thought it'd be too cold outside for it. I put it back outside after the leaf loss and it seems to be doing fine. Haven't lost anymore leaves

Brought home a new bonsai from Orlando

I also brought home a New Zealand Tea Rose "bush" It's the same as the bonsai I already had (which will be getting some TLC soon)

I'll probably be working on turning it into a bonsai soon enough

glad to see it worked. Looking good but the maple is more like a tree now. :giggle:
