Nice, how much did you pay for the installation?
Very nice! Thanks bro$40 so far for the A/C evac. Did the rest myself.
wait, the install isn't straighforward? Also, why did you need to splice the injectors? Does the kit you 8th injectors?
Looks to be the case on the 8th gen kit. Stage2 kit had injectors for the 8th.I always thought the "stage 1" reused the stock injectors?
So you basically installed this all yourself?Yes, I had to splice/solder the injectors. CT-Engineering told me that they're working on a more PNP setup in the future. I'm assuming they're 8th gen injectors, the plugs on these guys are much bigger than the OEM 9th gen.
I'm assuming they're going to make some refinements and publish a very detailed installation manual (like the 8th gen) but for the most part, it is pretty straight forward. 10/12/14MM will be your best friends.
I received the kit today. Nate and the guys at CT-Engineering did an awesome job packing the kit. Even though the kit came from the same state, UPS is a little rough with the handling. The Box itself was a little dinged but the items were in immaculate condition. CTE hand-rolled packing paper into giant cigars, along with dry foam packs to protect everything inside.
Here's what I received today. Installation should begin tomorrow.
So you basically installed this all yourself?
Impressive!Yes, I did the install with a friend. An extra pair of hands (much smaller) definitely help in these engine bays.
Is this a street tune or dyno? Also, to be clear for everyone, the guy had an rbc, so don't right off the gains. Finally, how many psi are we looking at, 7lbs? Is this a stage 1 kit?
