Does it have to be a 30 mm festoon bulb? I found these 31 mm bulbs on ePay... want to know if they will fit. I want operating room bright... ;)

hehehe a 31mm will be fine..... honestly looks like there enough room between +/- connectors to easily fit upto 35mm im only quoting a common size i used... and what the book says.....

what you are looking at will be almost too bright for me... lol looks like those are bright enough to be reading lamps.. lol
 
no problem Michael Hurd, i had the same question when i wanted to buy some interior LEDs.... the nice part is honda actually stayed with the same bulbs throughout the 8th and 9th.. so any search of bulb size for the 8th will be exactly the same as the 9th....
 
Well, keep in mind the digital cameras will absorb much light as possible during night shots making the picture look bright. Yes they are bright but not as bright as pictures would have appear. They are definitely brighter than stock bulbs.

Michael - that is a very interesting design so I'd be curious as to how well it works.
 
So now thinking of swapping the three interior lights with red. lol. Going to leave the trunk and license lights alone as they are working great.

Are red lights bit software and lower in light intensity?
 
It's amazing how technology have come a long way from simple LED to something like this. Cool stuff.
 
when they first came out i had a set, cost 2x as much were 1/4 as bright and didnt last, and that was only 5-6 years ago
 
Samsung made super powerful LED bulbs that are brighter than regular halogens. Too bad they are expensive. A pair of 9006 cost around $140.
