If you're gonna be in there anyways, might as well. It'll give you peace of mind if nothing else.

I’m sure you want your parts now so you can get back to your daily routine. It will come. I was excited to have my parts I’ve never bought for my cars in the past. How long has it been since you’ve been waiting?
 
Parts are always fun. I usually try and get one tool or part a month. Lately I’ve been getting a lot of random tools like a trailing arm bushing remover, rear brake tool, crank pulley tool stuff like that. My arsenal is starting to get pretty deep but I think my next big buy probably beginning of next year is gonna be a set of quick jacks.

Honestly, after joining this group, I’ve been finding myself having a lot more respect for my car and especially myself. I’m encouraging myself to invest into something that i can always learn and reuse in the future. I’m a firm believer in long term investment. Working on cars are like being an automotive doctor or surgeon.
 
Definitely saves a lot of money. And then turns into a passion. I’ve learned a ton since being here. From how to run e85 to pulling a trans it’s all here in the forum step by step. Honestly good dudes here too. I feel like that’s why a lot of the guys who sold off their civics still frequent the forum.
