It's 63 degrees down here in the abyss.

I was sanding one of the trim pieces outside.....was a bit windy. Got up to go get something and the wind blew the piece of the table and fell on the driveway. Now I have to so another layer of resin from the damage.

Not a happy Nomar...

You know what's funny? It was 66F here yesterday. Perks of living in the most southern area of Canada.

So wife and I have debated for years moving to British Columbia. There's always places looking for mechanics. I'm a level 3 ( highest ) chrysler tech and every ad I see out there wants a level 2or 3 because you can't do warranty work without it, takes years to get that high because you have to do in class training for each skill area.

So semi joking I told my wife to make up a resume and submit it to a place in BC. So she did yesterday and I got a response within an hour. So now I'm freaking out and have a phone interview tomorrow but I'm way to comfortable and scared to move my family thousands of kms away, sell a house and buy another, start a new job ect. I hate new jobs. Been at my place for 8 years this year.

If I had no kids or family close by I'd probably move in a second.

Damn! At least you both would have jobs lined up.

I'm the same way, I would hate to relocate my family that far away too. Plus, starting a new job is always rough. Although, it's really cool that you both have jobs lined up

I'd love to move somewhere warmer but all my family is local. I've been at my current employer since 2006 and love what I do/who I work for so no reason to move.

It's definitely a plus that we don't have kids so that wouldn't be holding us back.
