I used to just blow it out from the inside and bolt it back on but I'm sure there is a better way :rotfl:
 
Man I feel like a complete noob.. I have the K-Tuned SRI and I can't see anywhere whether or not it s a wet or dry filter..

I think you're right though about the wet vs dry. I don't have any of the oily residue on my MAF sensor so my guess is that it was a dry filter and just needs to be swapped out if it's excessively dirty?

I'm pretty sure the acuity filter is a dry filter. Seems as though you can wash it and just let it dry before installing I guess
 
I use the k and n cleaner and oil on my prl intake filter. I use the oil for the filter on my rc car too.
