Mother Of All Whore Threads Non-VIP Edition v.1

Texas is one of the few states that finds Delta-8 as illegal. It looks like it’s being fought in the court system in the last few days.

I got a random question for you guys. How are people able to buy an EK9 in the US? And register it to drive it?

It doesn’t fit within the 25 year rule….

The old way -- get a regular EK, and import the EK9s power plant, and interior accessories.

The other way involves bringing it up to US standards of Safety and Emissions, which would bypass the 25 year rule. The only issue is that this is the most expensive way to do it-- the process is notoriously fiddly.

Morning Y'all.

Local School Systems have closed today for rain/wind/flooding.. Don't want to sound like a dick but back in my day (I'm not that old) we rarely closed for bad weather... Yes we would close for bad snow storms and I remember when I believe Hurricane Isabelle hit the Mid-Atlantic schools closed due to the power outages we had for multiple days (think it was almost a week without power).

Well, back in my day, we closed for even the threat of snow :rotfl:

I had been wondering for years where the kids on campus were importing all their cool JDM cars from. Well, I finally found it.

...and I think I nearly died when I did. Whoever runs the place seems to really like Hondas.

This reminds me of a story of when I lived in Florida (where I grew up). We had a Hurricane coming and they cancelled school preemptively for the bad storm we were going to get.. WELL, the storm made a right turn shortly before the storms outer bands where going to be coming onshore and we had a free, sunny, 70* day off and it was glorious.. We did have to make up that day at the end of the year though

Have you been to their store? It's over in Carrolton and it's truly a sight to behold

hey now, dc and baltimore area would shut down for the threat of a flurry

Now Baltimore will shut down for a flurry/flake of snow but back when I was in school they wouldn't. I guess now all the snowflakes will threaten to sue the school if their kid gets injured... smh

Yeah that's happened a few times here over the past few years. "Bad" storm coming and they close schools and it's a drizzle..

Always wanted to ask this, why do people live in a place that constantly gets bad storms/hurricanes ? Insurance must be expensive.

Born & raised here? Haven't lived anywhere else? Family lives close? Good job and don't want to move?

Hurricanes aren't all that bad and they come and go so quick and the weather stayed pretty nice year round in Florida. Moved to Texas to get tornado and hail threats and stuff and I'd rather deal with Hurricanes
