Another snowfall this weekend, getting only about 1.5”. A bigger snow storm supposed to move in tonight bringing in 6” or so. Thursday low of 7F, will be the coldest temperature I’ve experienced in Seattle, I think it’s close to the all time low temp.
December 2022, one of the snowiest (days of snow) and coldest for 10+ years at least in Seattle.

Thanks! Left Georgia at 6:30am and got back home at 6:00pm.
My MIL has a '22 Hyundai Tucson SEL AWD. It's not bad but not enough power for the Georgia/North Carolina/Tennessee mountains!
We are at sea level at home so it's fine for that and some small hills.

They closed the schools today. Day before 2 week Christmas break. The people responsible for the closure should really spend a week or two in Edmonton to see how Canada deals with winter weather.

-10deg here in Chicago. Wind Chill has it feeling -33deg. Lots of guys vans won’t start and they’re calling for a tow or just plain calling in. They tried giving me an outdoor patio heater to work on. Left the customer a message telling them to kick rocks.

They close schools around here because its "too cold". They don't want kinds standing around waiting for a bus freezing their booties off.
They didn't do that poop when I was in school.
