Dang. My parents used to have the Lizard but switched a while back. Forget what they have now...

Oh nice! I'd like to visit there.
thought you didnt want to visit anything in canada? actually going to gibsons BC. flying into abbotsford.

Vancouver is a very pretty town when it’s nice outside. This time of year is when it’s not nice outside.

I was there in November 2 years ago to go to the island. It's cold for sure. Smells good. Fair ride was beautiful. I'm a little worried about the summers though because I'm used to 80F and up with humidity.

if we move we're thinking of renting instead of buying a house and investing the money from our house now. not sure what to do. rent is between 2500 and 3500 a month for a 3-4 bed house. mortgage would be about 3000 a month.

3 months later car parts will arrive today.

Just workin' it. You know. :) HBU?

5pm... 3pm for me lol

Good man, just trying to make it :rotfl:

Our final numbers ended up just north of 900k. I think we will cross the million dollar threshold this month though.. Quite a few train wrecks in here right now

That rent is insane but prob like that everywhere. I know it is where I live. I would go for a 6 month rental so you can get the lay of the land and look to buy asap.

It would be less money/time that you are paying for someone else mortgage.

But we would be able to invest a very large amount from the sale of our house. I'm not sure what we're gonna do though. Definitely renting till we can find a house though. Would be nice to wait for the interest rates to go down again if possible.

What @Janz3n said for housing prices makes sense. It’s expensive to live in the PNW, be it Seattle or Vancouver. More expensive as you get closer to the city. It would be more “reasonable” outside the immediate suburbs but even those places are big bucks compared to many other places.

Yeah. My place is a million bucks and it’s 3 beds and 1700 sq ft. You go 3 miles south of here and you could double the price

Yea but your place looks way nice compared to the pics they’re showing on those listings.
