You late!
Morning (almost finished)
I am. and yes you would. stage 2 is 25-50 hp gain, but needs valve springs. 75hp gain boosted 50 hp gain boosted with stage 1.Are you running flashpro? I have to assume you’d need a custom tune to make the cams perform properly
This week is quickly turning into a poop-show. Too many plates spinning with work and life.....
Ditto.this week has already been horrible
That’s why Piggybacks are so popular again.Aftermarket calibration detection is gonna kill tubing off the cars. Hear about that stuff screwing people over on warranty repairs.
Speaking of broken rams. A trx was towed in today. Broken engine. Dtc active for aftermarket calibration detected. Not gonna be able to warranty it.
Just leave vehicles stock!Aftermarket calibration detection is gonna kill tubing off the cars. Hear about that stuff screwing people over on warranty repairs.
says the guy who had a cobb aftermarket tune on his wrx
Just leave vehicles stock!
I don't think it's a bad thing to screw the customer of warranty for issues like this. Guy modified his truck probably used some generic tune instead of a custom tune and it blew up hsi engine. You gotta know the risks before you do that stuff. I don't think the manufacturer should have to front the bill for him adding more power than the engine was designed for.Aftermarket calibration detection is gonna kill tubing off the cars. Agreed, but some manufacturers are doing a bit too much. From what I’ve seen VAG uses “ELSA”? and it’ll flag your car with a “TD1” as soon as they jack into your OBDII. Audi refused to service the Mag Suspension or Haldex on my S3 because the car had been flagged for a tune. Subaru seems to be a bit more lenient regarding mods but that’s probably because of the class actions on their engines.I don't think it's a bad thing to screw the customer of warranty for issues like this.
