Mother Of All Whore Threads Non-VIP Edition v.1

Morning.

Question. I pay for Google photos. I back up all my phone pictures as well as my wife's phone. My kids have iPads with 32gif storage so I'm trying to set up theirs to upload to Google as well. My question is. Is it possible to up load photos from each device to their own album or folder instead of all to the same place?
Hmm  I don't pay for Google Photos. I have Google Drive (100GB) and I have my wife's phone backing up to it (along with mine).

On Google Drive it shows me a separate folder for her phone backup. I never set it up that way. It did it automatically.

Sorry can't be of help since never setup Google Photos that way.

Hmm wonder what the difference between drive and photos is then? I'll have to look into that.

Morning.

My wife's previous employer updated their GoFundMe stating that the new owner of the building found someone to take over her lease so she doesn't have to pay 12k any more but they have kept the page up to try and recoup the 50k they put into the space in renos.

Could you imagine if everyone started a gofundme for that? Lol.

Just think of all the scammers out there that abuse GoFundMe...

Like Janz3ns wifes former employer.....

Putting $50k or $1 into a unit for you to do business and earn money is not something random people should "pay" you for. That's a normal operating cost of any business.

Can that be reported so the gofundme people take the "page" down?

I have thought about reporting the page but i can't do it.

That's not gonna help out EVs image but at the end the reporter gave good info that wouldn't make his story look as good if he said it earlier.

Im confused, are the cars broken or are the charging stations broken? Kinda curious what the non tesla stations are like, a lot of them use water cooling in the lines.

Meanwhile my cars sitting in the driveway at 42%, ran the heater twice while clearing it off this morning and put it back in its spot. Dont have to go anywhere and if i do its got enough range to get there.

Skip the water cooling. Maybe they need to use something like a propylene glycol or ethylene glycol to make stuff not freeze up. That’ll keep you flowing until -75F. But you need the battery packs to be sufficiently warm. Maybe the built-in heaters aren’t powerful enough to get the car into the chargeable temperature limits. That’s a lot of temperature rise to get from -20F to the typical requisite ~40F.

It’s all fun and games until some snow or moisture gets inside that thing. He even mentions 20mph winds :snow:

I had an awful day. I've got a 5500 ram on one hoist waiting for the proper u joints that were ordered wrong twice. Other hoist has a ram with the heads off, had a misfire and evidence of coolant in cylinder 2. After removing everything found out the camshafts are corroded.

Then I had to put an egt sensor in a 3.0l Grand Cherokee for 3 hours that I already spent hours replacing the scr on a couple weeks ago because a previous employee installed a particulate matter sensor into a stripped bung a year ago that I had the genius idea of trying to fix even though it wasn't causing a problem.

it appears they're blaming the charging stations, but the tesla forums are also blaming the cars some too. A bunch are talking about the issues of warming up the batteries in prep for charging, and it appears there are issues with cold temps and how long it takes to prep the batteries as well as how low the current battery charge is at the time? It sounds like the lower the battery level the harder it is to get it to charge.

and theyre all going to L3 charging that requires that preconditioning, pretty sure if they had L2 or L1 at home they would have been fine

Hey Ethlar? Now that you've had it for a little bit, how do you like your Polestar 2?

I saw one in the parking lot the other day and thought it looked nice.
