Mother Of All Whore Threads Non-VIP Edition v.1

Yeah, last week was the annual Blue Ridge Gathering event. I was not able to make it and was quite upset by it as it has been over 15yrs at this point since I last attended. But, my car wasn't done (I did manage to get the transmission back in this past weekend) and I ultimately couldn't afford the trip. So, I didn't make it and the posts throughout the week were making me sad I couldn't be there.

It's cool. I'm not upset like seeing an ex I miss after years; the one that got away kinda thing. Just disheartened I wasn't able to make a triumphant return.

@Honda-Fan .....sewing machines, dried flowers???? Trying to take the old man title from @bootyluvr ?

There are perfectly logical reasons for what I'm doing! :spaz: I've been leaving my apartment a lot this summer to go outside on my bike to the nature trails, and there's so much cool and emotionally challenging stuff outside that I didn't know about!

Have you considered:

Flowers are pretty -- I have a favorite flower now, and it's Strelitzia.

Sewing is fun -- the sewing store has way cooler patterns than the stuff at the supermarket, and floral/geometric patterns are my favorite.

Umbrellas of Cherbourg is a beautiful film that I cried during, and the singing throughout is pretty interesting set against the continuous background score.
