Yeah the VR6 motor is reliable unlike the turbocharged engines from VW. 74k miles is not a lot for a ten year old car, I assume the price is between $17k-22K.

$13,500 Shhhh.....don't tell anyone! lol. Current owner had it for 2 years, prev owner for 8. Current owner has had his share of VW's and doesn't seem to skimp on maint and parts.

Dude is wanting to get into a new R, this is why he is selling. Main issues with the car are camber wear on tires, chip on windshield, seam on drivers seat leather is split(about inch, if that), little pebble chips on front bumper, has a ton of stereo crap in the hatch. He says title is clean and has a clean car fax.

That's a steal. Get it before it's gone.

I usually hear people talk about electronic gremlins on vw cars in general

Yeah, that's the general consensus. My two younger cousins each have MK4 s but haven't hear anything regarding elec issues in their cars. They have had the cars for 5 years or so.

its the mk5s that i remember used to like to set themselves on fire

and based on how ive seen you drive the fit, you arent lacking for power, you know how to use what the fit has pretty darn well

Thanks but I guess I am just missing the overall feeling of what a "sports car" gives.

Why don't you sell your Fit and buy Si instead?:wavey: The R32 in stock is not that fun to drive.

I can understand that, i still get a kick out of the power in the accord. Suspension goes on tomorrow then i think i'm about ready for another dragon trip

Need/want a hatch and can't afford a newer Si.

Carmax is giving more than what KBB lists.....not bad. The little tap in the rear did not show on their report eventhough it went through a police report.

If the car looks good and has full maintenance record then do it. Only 5000 of them were sold in NA. Most of them are already n the junkyard or beat to hell.

another thing to do - call insurance and see how it'd compare to your current insurance.

List of all the goodies on the car.....

Yeah.....was planning on that in the morning. I'm thinking it would stay the same or go down a bit. Allstate just jacked up my 6 month rate up by $40, so now I'm at $91 a month for the Fit after all surcharges and all the discounts I get(not bad at all, i think, lol). They did give me accident forgiveness for free since I've been with them for so long.

They should be giving me $$$ discounts since I've been with them on my house and car since 2006 with only one ticket this whole time. *knocks on wood*
