Official 'What did you do to your car today?' Thread

I received the Yospeed Si cup holder cover last week. What an awesome addition to the interior.

I also installed the clear LaminX headlight protectors and door cup protectors. They will definitely protect the car but losing your mind at any part during the install has to be normal. They are a pain to put on. I have a lot more respect for tint shops if it is anything like putting these on.

Learned & buffed my car using a rotary today all by myself lol I was nervous @ first but then couldn't stop I did most of my car. Also gave it a quick wash afterwards.

I removed my front bumper, tried to find a bolt I'd lost weeks ago, no luck. I fixed some curb gouges under the front lip, with CBP base and then clear, using an airbrush, re-mounted my radar detector, which had been gerry-rigged with a block of wood and 3m tape for almost a year. This time I drilled a few small holes in the aluminum bumper to hold the bracket. then I remounted the detector, re-routed the power wire and temp sensor wires with better routes since it was wide open, placed the sensor right down in with the air filter for accurate reads, and put it all back together, having debadged the "Si" on the front (a bracket on the back holds it on with two small screws).

How's that for de-badged?

^^^ Oh yeah. Never got the lost bolt back, and dropped a 4.5mm allen wrench in for good measure. Heard that fall out taking a turn a while later. These cars are voracious eaters of anything you drop in there.

It's the part of the car in behind the door handles. I've found with other cars that if you get scratches in there they are a pain to try to get out.

Mine are clear so they are hard to see in a picture. I'll put a link up to the vendor's site where I got them. They have pictures.

Ok I know what you're talking about. Yeah those are handy - my wife's car is white, and I'm always trying to buff out the marks from her nail polish that scratch up the paint behind her door handles. Thanks for the link, might order a set

Lowered it on sportlines and camber arms.

Did a 200 mile road trip from Danville to Roanoke(VA) and back, using the back roads(hill country), and a little city driving that ate some gas.
I pulled into my drive with 40.2 mpg average......
