Post up your fish tanks/aquariums!

^^I refuse to buy fish from any place that starts with a "P". I am almost tempted to get a job (which I have been offered) and get them out of selling fish/pets all together.
The fish are better off now and I for one am glad someone is willing to take care of these fish.

I couldn't let them suffer like the rest of them were. They're thriving and very happy ...and love to jump 2" out of the tank for food >_<

We bought two of our dogs from Petland. Never again. Not to mention one had to be put down at 3yrs old because of the amount of horrible problems that were shutting his body down. He had severe kennel cough and pneumonia the night we brought him home..and a very high fever :(

I haven't, no. No idea about him..he's deep into forza at the moment :hiding: I'll send him here shortly
The amount of fish this thing is telling me I'd need to control the aggression level is nuts it's around 18. God that's a ton of fish for a breeder tank. Maybe 9 Mbuna. 1 male, and 10 females for his harem. God, I'm going to end up a fish grandparent.

With most africans its needed. They can not pick on just one or two fish. If you stick 4 teenage males in a room with 5 females things may go over smoothly, but with 12 or 15 things should work out well. The males are just ravages.

Just finished moving all the big stuff and the rest of the tanks.

The first 2 pictures are of the fish room. There is 399 gallons in this room.

I bought a 110 a few weeks back and plan on migrating the fish from the 55 into the 110.
It's in good condition, but I believe the build date was in the early 90s. Would you recommend resealing? If so, any tips?

God I love this. When I finally manage to buy my own place, I plan on having a tank in every room. It's always just made sense to me to have one in every room. :)

Christina the Cool, do you have any pictures of juvenile cichlids or fry? I love how goofy they look! :)

I sure do, I think I actually have a huge album of them on facebook if you want to check it out. I'll see what I can post here

I can't wait til the big tank finishes cycling. I've got the water in the tank upstairs all leveled out. My mollies (1 male and 3 females) seem to be flirting with one another which has me stressed out. I'm not ready to be a grandmother.

hahaha we have mollies in my dad's tank. Next thing you know...more mollies. I found one baby. Then a week later...2 more. Then they found another a week or so later :rotfl:

I know they're the rabbits of the freshwater world. I love my mollies. They're so social and friendly. The same cannot be said for my Platys. My Gourami has gone through his fish puberty and now realizes hes the big dude in the tank. I've been catching him bullying the other fish around.
