Thanks guys. I had about 25 identically optioned LX's still in the transport wrapping to choose from. There was just something about that white one. Something almost classy about it. Had to have it. Im thinking about rims to start. Have my heart set on some 18's. I would like to see about gettin a big tire though to fill the wheel well so I can avoid lowering it. Any suggestions?

It depends on the particular loading terminal but Ill give you a quick run down. Gas these days is usually a blend of ethanol, a branded additive recipe, and sub grade gasoline. So for regular it would be 84 octane sub-grade gasoline + ethanol and additive= 87 octane regular. Premium is 91 octane sub-grade + ethanol and additive= 93octane midgrade is simply a mix of regular and premium. Most gas stations these days dont even have a midgrade tank, the pump mixes it on the spot as you fill your car (listen for the clicking). As for how the additive and ethanol are added during loading, its usually one of two ways. The percentage of ethanol is added first with additive, then the gasoline itself is added. This is called "splash blending". The other more advanced way is for it to be metered as the pump flows. So basically injectors shoot it in over the span of the loading process to ensure a perfect spec'd blend. When I refer to "additive", each Brand (Marathon, Shell, Exxon, etc..) has its own recipe or their own brand. Wholesale gas has a generic additive. In some areas of the country gas is also infused with butane as well as ethanol. The public doesnt know much about that and its definately not posted on the pumps.

Sorry didnt specify that all the mixing is done as the truck is being loaded, and gas is just gas until the additive is added, that is when it becomes the brand name like Shell, Exxon, BP etc. Often I can get multiple brands from the same loading facility
