Your bowling balls should be okay now. Are you going to return the tool they loaned you? Ha ha

Lol. I didn't need the tool after all. I just drilled the hole a bit smaller than the anchor, put some loctite on the anchor and gently tapped it on the hole. Trust me, it's not going anywhere.

Did you use the EVIL green 'bearing grade' Loctite? That is forever! There are a few occasions at work where I need to use it but mostly use the red high strength every day. On smaller fasteners, we use blue.

Red thread locker from Home Depot. The red caught my eye first.

You could make your own rivnut tool with some hardware from homedepot or lowes.

Here's the dash cover I ordered from College Hills Honda (CHH), It's a special order and they said it could take about a month, but only took two weeks, cost was around $50/55 with shipping... I ordered the Part number 71944-00-76 .......... The fit was great, I trimmed to fit my cockpit mirrors, which actually help stabilized them by cushioning them, they were sitting on Velcro tape only.

The covers come with sticky some tape, which I found only needs to be applied near the vent slots at the windshield ..... I haven't used the tape yet, I turned the fan on full blast with no lift issues........ I'm letting it just sit for a few weeks to settle, because I had one on my Jeep for about 18 years, and It could need adjustment later but I doubt it.

^^^^^^^^Hmmm....interesting. I've never seen one of those before. Is this for protection from the sun?

Yes...... I'm the type to keep my cars/mc's for 100k miles or more, and feel it's worth it, I've heard stories and have seen where dash boards crack after time, and it cuts down on vapors clouding the windshield. It's like it or hate it kind of thing.

Okay. I get it. It doesn't have any blue lights in it so I'm out.;)

My first oil change in a year (at 2300 miles) and the dealership threw in a B1 maintenance, all for free!

Wow. Nice. I have an appointment for a B1 service in a week. I'm thinking it probably won't be free. I do have a $200 service credit from when I bought the car that I can use so it's kinda' free.

Well my car didn't really need a B1 since I obviously don't drive it often, so I have to assume it was a breeze for them and they decided against charging me. Why the oil change was free is beyond me, but it's just another example of why I continue to buy cars from them.

Absolutely. The way that they treat you makes all the difference.
