I did nothing....lol. Guess it was all down hill after me since I was the first to post up a purchase an Accord.

Yes it's your fault. When you posted your pics of the Accord, I starting looking at them at Economy Honda. I blame you lol. You do have a badass accord though

I went back and forth for months, decided just to do every mod I wanted to do to my si. Spent about 4000 in the last 2 weeks, but I'm truly happy now. I didn't want a higher payment,it's an awesome car( accord) I wish you the best with it!

But... How does she drive compared to the Si? Honestly thought about the Accord V6 Coupe but didn't have the cash.

I looked at the 2013 accord coupe v6 6sp, and it is a nice car, but what it came down to is that the accord is too big, very front heavy (bad understeer), and doesn't get a LSD. I have had a few accord coupes over the years and after the 7th gen, it got way too big, I had an 8th get and that car was a turd. Got 19mpg, power steering pump went on it and was starting to have issues with the transmission at 25k miles and dealership wouldn't address it. The 9th generation seems to be a bit better, but honestly the Accord is too big and expensive for my tastes. Out of the accords I have had my favorite was a 2003 v6 6sp coupe (out of the 5 accords I have had over the years). I am very pleased I got the Civic Si. It is nearly as fast as the accord v6, while getting much better fuel economy, $9,000 cheaper, and better handling.

I have both the 2012 SI Coupe and a 2013 Accord EXL-V6 Coupe with auto. I got the V6 in Still night pearl. This color is only available with an auto, unfortunately. I feel that in a head to head race, the accord will stomp the SI, hands down. The accord does ride a lot better and gets better gas mileage. I've seen on a 200 mile trip a high of 31.2 (according to the trip computer) in the SI and 32.7 (again according to the trip comp) in the Accord. The accord has an econ button, but did not use it. When used its seems way down on power and you have to put your foot into it to get it to get out of its own way. Kind of defeats the purpose of the button. Hate to say it, but I almost wish I got me a CBP Accord with V6 instead of the SI. Now to address the fact that the EXL doesn't come with limited slip. This is something that this car really needs. Under full throttle, the car seams twitchy, not just a little. Its at the point that if it was my driver and not the wife's, I may look at options to have it installed. It suffers severe understeer, that can be addressed with a rear swaybar change. Again, something I would look into if it were my driver. When the family and I go out, we take this car and its great for that. Very nice ride and plenty of power to move. Labor day weekend I took it on a trip over 1200 miles and never had the feeling that I needed to get out and stretch, like in the SI after 100 or so miles. Now, I am a truck driver and drive 300-600 miles a day, so its nice to get in a car that can make me feel comfy for long distances. These are 2 different cars and both have there benefits. I like the small nimble feeling of the SI and shifting my own gears along with what feels to be better handling. The EXL for its comfort, roomy quite interior and long legs on trips.
