I blew past 4000 miles on my car thanks to a couple of trips to Virginia. Kinda sucks seeing as ive only had the car since the end of May. Also I installed led license plate bulbs. IMID indicates 40% oil life left already. Does it factor outside temperature?. Its been mid-high 90's here. Im most likely changing it at 5000 miles.

Alright. Gotta clarify on my previous comments about the Full-Race Downpipe and Exhaust.

Fitment is fine.
I ended up rotating the mid-pipe 120° somehow and that was what was causing it to touch the undercarriage. Not sure how it got rotated, could have been frustration, heat, exhaustion, whatever. Somehow I did not notice. As far as the weld beads, since I had to take it off again, I got the grinder out to trim just a bit of the weld bead off. It worked out great as it actually made it so I didn't need to use two wrenches.

Thoughts on the sound:



It was LOUD for the first 100-200 miles. After that, it quiets down quite a bit. Sounds great! Not ricey/fart can at all. The sound/note is on the low side, but not too low. It can be quiet while under light acceleration, but will get a bit loud (not too loud) under moderate acceleration. Something that struck me as odd is the coasting while in gear. It does get quite loud. Putting it in neutral and you cannot hear anything.







Other thoughts: It eliminates most of the jerkiness when lightly putting your foot on/taking it off of the accelerator. It also eliminates some of the rev hang. Shifting has gotten considerably smoother all around, too.


I will be putting up a combined DIY for both the exhaust and downpipe. Hopefully soon, but I don't know how much time I will have to dedicate to it in the next few weeks.

Received and installed OEM trunk liner today. Well worth the $74 (incl. shipping) price tag.

I too was worried about it being too thin, but after seeing it and putting it in the trunk, it's just the right thickness.
I like that it's shaped like a bowl so that if something does spill, it won't reach the carpet.
