Yeah, I tried that once. Didn't work.

may work. There isn't a lot of clearance and the bolts were longer than I expected them to be.

this is what i was going to use, i have a bunch but all imperial measurements, not metric.
gonna run down to autozone or sears and pick one up, i'm sure it'll come in handy later anyways, seeing as how a ton of bolts in our cars are 10mm

I have no clue what that is. :hiding:


It is a crankshaft pulley removal tool. It is used for changing the timing belt. This tool is used to keep the crankshaft in place so you can turn the bolt attached to the end of the crank which keeps the pulley in place. I had to use this plus two breaker bars and a pipe to extend it in order to break the bolt free. All attached to an 18" or 24" extension.
