so i had some plastic stuck under my car i came into work this morning and decided to use my oem jack to jack it up a little and take the plastic out. the damn jacks bolt straight bent in half and slipped the whole jack and made a huge dent right underneath my back right passenger side also poked a hole in it and also idk how but bent my rear quarter panel.. do u guys think honda will fix this? im super pissed

yes i placed the jack where it suppose to go but when the bolt bent the jack slipped

The jack bent in half?? How did the quarter get a dent? Did you use the proper jack points?
yes webby i know i did everything correct i was just jacking it up and all of the sudden the thing bent and the whole slipped as u can see in pics

it was leveled i got all pics and videos for honda it was hard pavement... literally the only thing that happened was that the bolt bent and everything else happened in like 1 second

From the pictures it looked like it slipped and fell on the bolt and it bent from that, not that the bolt bending caused it to slip
i understand but i was literally watching the jack point the whole time

I don't think Honda will take any blame for this....... I'd not show them these picks, as it looks like the car moved to the side, and then the weight of the car bent the bolt.............
Even if it didn't happen that way, it will look like it did.

Very sorry for the mishap though, that sucks.

You've got nothing to loose. Might as well bring it to Honda and tell them what happened. It looks like the jack was faulty based on the second pic. The base should not move like that.

It's possible you may have done something wrong but it should not end that way.

Either way the base of the jack should never move like that. Sorry to see this happened to you but that would be heart breaking never mind how pissed I would be. Good luck with Honda, even if nothing good comes out of it be glad your alright. That could have seriously injured you.
