Hey guys. So I'm thinking of getting xxr 522 17x8 I have 205/45/17 tires. I also am lowered on skunk2 springs so about a 2" drop. Will I have any gap? I'm kind of new to the modding stuff
gap where? The drop will look the same with your skunk2 now as it does with the new wheel. The offset will determine how it sits it the fender. Pushed out towards the outer part of the fender or sunk into the fender. You need to know the last number on the 17x8 _____ +38 or whatever that last number is.

You mean the offset? It says +48 I just don't want that tiny gap between the tire and my fender. Like I said I don't really know a lot so thanks for the help

The gap between your tire and fender...UP and DOWN is controlled by your springs. The only way to lower the car is by springs or coilovers. You said you have skunk2, so you can't do anything to lower the car further unless you get a coilover suspension.

this explains the offset

You'll have a few MM of clearance from the strut I believe, most people go with 215/35 with a roll/pull all around and camber...

205 on 9" wheels? Yikes .. get 225 or 235/40.
Are your fenders rolled? Also what offset you wheels have?

Thanks man. I just got some burning blue lugs and I'm loving them. I only put it on one wheel and haven't taken off the lock nut. Here's a pic. @jassmi
