I rescind my statement of Tires Plus FTL. Not all suck. I got a call from the Titusville store that I used to visit and they said they do transfer the alignments for their customers (just this district) and that they are calling my New Tampa store to tell them to honor it. He also told me that at the Titusville store they do mount currently-being-used tires as long as they're in good condition. I'm still going to Kauffman tire for the mounting/balancing though, as the Titusville store is of course not near where I now reside.

So read that as Titsville store.

Yeah the Howard Johnson. My family stayed there when we first moved and looked for an apartment nearby in like '91

Installed earlier today. I think I will get flat Volk center caps sometime in the future.

The black lug nuts I bought at the auto parts store (since my Rays lug nuts haven't been delivered yet) fit in the holes of the wheel but a socket would not fit over them because the hole was too small. Kauffman Tire traded me a set of the chrome tuner lugs for the Dorman auto parts store ones, which was really nice of them.

I have a feeling my Rays lug nuts aren't going to fit when they arrive Monday. I'm going to have to return them probably. But which lug nuts are going to fit? I don't want to keep these chrome ones, I want black or gunmetal. I've seen two types of locking lug nut sockets: long and narrow, and short and wide. I'm going to need the long and narrow ones. I may be forced to buy Muteki lug nuts, but I really want something nice like the Rays. Are Mugen GP lug nuts going to fit?

Also got my eeffect K series T-shirt. It's awesome

Rays lugs didn't fit. Returning them to buy Mugen heptagon lug nuts.

K-tuned coil pack cover installed. Doesn't quite cover everything all that well on the k24, different shape than the k20 on the front side of the coil pack tunnel area. Hard to tell in these pics.

Wow, 20% restocking fee ($30) to return the lug nuts. Total BS. Looks like I'll be selling on here.

$150 shipped, black rays forged lug nuts BNIB. 16 hex lugs, 4 7-sided locking lugs

I will make a for sale thread later.

If interested now feel free to contact me

I feel a little bit like an idiot. This whole time i've been looking for 73mm center caps, because the wheel bore is 73mm. Turns out that the opening on the face of the rim to accept center caps is approximately 62mm. I found some flat, black (not flat black) 62.5mm clip-type center caps on ebay for $18.99 shipped

I am hoping that they will fit, as .5mm is really not much especially when you're dealing with somewhat flexible plastic clips. I only measured the wheels with the metric side of a tape measure though, not a caliper (don't have one), so it's quite possible my measurement was not perfectly centered on the bore and that it might be 62.5mm anyway (hard to tell .5mm difference by sight). I measured multiple times and got pretty much exactly 62mm every time, but I did not check down to the tenth.

I also ordered the trunk lid liner kit from college hills honda.

Mugen lug nuts delivered and installed! Looks so much better than the Muteki(?)/generic look chrome tuner lugs that the shop sold me when I found out the Rays lug nuts wouldn't fit (the key/tool was too wide).

I also received a black Varrstoen center cap to test fit on my wheels. They make some plain (no logo) billet aluminum flat caps in the same flat style but the plastic ones were cheaper so I bought one ($5) to test before buying the billet ones ($25 each). Unfortunately, while it looked great, it was about .5mm-1mm too small and I could pull them back off too easily. I bought some 62.5mm black, flat caps on eBay that should be here soon; hopefully they'll fit. For now, I reinstalled the XXR caps because they aren't completely terrible looking once I got the black lug nuts.

That XXr cap isn't horrible. Just put a vinyl H logo over it.
