Not much of a break.
no, and thats a good thing.
In other news, have a new AWD vehicle........ 2004 Nissan Murano, 20k mi
The odds of my W making it to springtime is very remote. Tired of paying on it and I want the Fiesta ST

FWD does fine but they usually compete against like cars performance-wise (cars in same class). The biggest direct competitor to a WRX is a Mini turbo (FWD)

I would have never guessed a mini turbo. I looked up the fiesta st and holy gas mileage

Do the numbers scare you from the car and driver test? Seems like you'd be taking a big loss from the wrx

C/D TEST RESULTS:
Zero to 60 mph: 7.0 sec
Zero to 100 mph: 17.6 sec
Zero to 130 mph: 39.0 sec
Rolling start, 5-60 mph: 7.5 sec
Standing ¼-mile: 15.2 sec @ 93 mph
Top speed (drag limited): 143 mph
Braking, 70-0 mph: 159 ft
Roadholding, 300-ft-dia skidpad: 0.92 g

it's not about power, it's about fun (ref: Miata). Fighting the WRX around a tight course is not fun at all. I want a light handling car; I have grown tired of steering a fat hippo around tight auto-x courses. This past season, I lost 1/3 of the tight courses to a Mazda3, once on raw time (it was sad day)

the murano is nice. Since I bought it at an Infiniti dealer, the Nissan extended warranty was available. I grabbed it. Now have ultra warranty to 100k mi on a 9 yr old car. Heheheheheheh

Funny that the fiesta st competes directly against the focus st in SCCA autox. So how much more performance in the twisties is the focus giving over the fiesta? I can't wait to drive them both
