3M Paint Defender. Liquid Clear Bra?

Did you happen to take any pics of it before removing?

no thoughts on spraying the whole hood instead of taping off a line?

Here's an example pic of the clearbra. I got this pic from rasky's thread.

I'd say that's pretty darn close.
I did think that spraying the whole hood wouldn't be so bad if there's enough in a can.

I'd also say that the color of the cars paint affects how the line looks on clearbra

It's only noticeable from up close. Where did you get the can?

And on PMM, the difference was noticeable from anywhere.

Did it change the look of the paint or was it just the line that was noticeable?

There was some gloss there, but it was different. But I am kinda curious to see an entire hood done.

While it looks like a hassle, I've got to side with the clear bra for looks.

Costs are just wayyyy worse on clearbra. A normal full front coverage installed at an authorized shop will run around a grand with materials. Doing it yourself, you may have like $~500ish in materials alone.

I'll take the $24 can of 3M any day to $500 clear bra.

I'm getting a good deal on mine! I'm going to end up with hood, mirrors, bumper for 650 installed. Lifetime warranty against peeling and turning yellow. How does this film do against turning yellow webby

Most of the newer films are good against yellowing. They vary from brand to brand. Did they say what kind they were using?

I say spend alil more get more cans and spay entire hood and fenders that way you cant see the lines and all is well !
That what im gonna try at least lol

yeah, if you taped off lines at the fender, or adjacent body panels... it'd probably hide things well.
