Full Race 9th Gen 3" Exhaust now ready!!

You want drone? Drive around with a Skunk 2 exhaust for 70,000 miles. Mod-wise, my 06 FG2 with the 60mm Skunk2 was a simple bolt on affair. My current FA5 with the 3" Full Race has been modified quite a bit more than my first Si, and during normal driving conditions it's not even close to having the drone of the S2.

I've got a 3" Full Race exhaust on my 07 FA5, and I love it to death. It's SOOOOOOOOOOO much nicer than the 60mm Skunk2 I had on my FG2.

Cams man! CAMS!!!! Plus the fact that the kids just need a big ol' donkey dick exhaust to "wow" their neighbors with.

Actually your calculations are a little off. It's around 7hp on the exhaust (depending on your supporting mods of course) and 25hp for the decal. I don't know where the hell you're coming up with this 2hp BS. :D

I would say with out flashpro the sticker only gets 2 HP. Once you tune for the sticker you might get 20-25 HP ;)

I think there's more hp to be had. I guess we need better tuners, and a better source for BIGGER stickers. The bigger the sticker, the higher the hp. I'm going to have to get one of those top of the windshield banner decals. Depending on which tuning company I'd be advertising for, it could EASILY be worth an extra 75-125hp. :spaz:

This just in from FR Jon:

Hey guys,

We should have the down pipes done shortly and when that's done we should have pricing available. If anyone wants to get on the waiting/reserve list or are looking to do a combo deal with the exhaust please send me an e-mail to Jon@Full-Race.com

Also we still got our Freeshipping on the exhaust systems with in the continental U.S. If you need an exhaust now is the time!

Jon

Well this thread got waaaay off topic. Nobody even mentioned that Full Race stickers add EVEN more horsepowers. Lol.

But seriously, who has gotten the exhaust on here so far?

mine arrives tomorrow (for the si sedan) but i might not get it until wed, fedex req direct signature for me, and nobody will be home, so i might have to go wed after work to get it
won't have time to install until friday anyway, so it's not a huge deal to wait a day or so (even though it's killing me!!) i'll have pics of the shipping carton/box, packaged materials, unpackaged materials as soon as i get it, then pics during and after install (i might do a DIY if i have time) and then i'll have a video posted too.
i'll keep you all posted : )

Did ya get the goods mongoose?

just got it installed yeterday (took me like 8 freaking hours, but i took a LOT of breaks, it was so hot outside and i did it in my driveway in the afternoon)... i had some hangups (the rubber hangars were impossible to get off, and even harder to get back on, even with WD40... and the cat bolts were seriously put onby the incredible hulk, took me a breaker bar and all my might, combined with PB nut blaster to loosen them up...tough under a car on ramps/stands)... i'll be posting a DIY and videos within the next day or so, with a stock warm starup + rev and a 3" FR warm starup and rev... overall i LOVE it , my girlfriend said she was worried because, while she loves an exhaust, most hondas are ricey/obnoxious, stupid sounding in our area, and though she trusted my judgement, she wanted to hear it in person... and she absolutely loves it...

overall A+ for the sound and look of the exhaust, A+ for build quality as well, my only gripe was the gasket didn't fit the stock cat bolts properly, i had to trim the bolt holes a tad to get it to line up, but once it was bolted on it flattened down fine

like i said i'll be posting a DIY with pics and videos soon, and one of these weekends you can swing up to the commons, or up to middletown (where i live, 20 min past the commons)

Nice feedback mongoose221. I'm sure FR appreciates the info so they can tweak the gasket for the cat or find another supplier(I would hope it was a stock Honda gasket)
I'm looking forward to the DIY and the vid!
