Mother Of All Whore Threads Non-VIP Edition v.1

I'm hoping to hear something soon. My wife is reaching out to our landlord (her cousin) this morning! We live in a small town so maybe there might be a better chance on getting someone out today or tomorrow?

Few weeks ago work AC died and now your house AC... Yikes.
dont you guys put that evil on the rest of us
This^. I know most (if not all) of the shuttle/busses were all supposed to be electric for the entire city here.
i hear philly has a fleet of electric busses, theyre parked, got less than half the expected runtime so theyre not practical to operate

Well, the whole system is FUBAR'd.. gotta get a new system and parts will be here wednesday

More sweating in my forecast, might take a trip somewhere this weekend

Damn....that sucks. Def sounds like a vacation weekend.....

Well….finally doing it….cutting the cable. Going with YouTube TV. We shall save about $60 a month.

Gotta keep **** *** Comporium for internet service since they are the only option.

We shall save about $60 a month.

My wife: $60/month savings isn't worth it to cut the cable! I've had Comcast (Xfinity) since I was a kid and that's all I know. Still can't believe she never had dial-up internet...

She was born in '84 and said they had Comcast TV back then...

But we have the Xfinity Triple Play (TV/Phone/Internet)... 1 X1 DVR Box / Own my own modem / Roku in the bedroom (I mainly use)

Just saw this on the FaceSpace a few minutes ago... Thought of @Honda-Fan and @Dad but others in the warmer states could apply too.

I havent had cable tv service since 2019 and havent missed it, internet bill is 60 a month

i cut cable in like 2017. we have small providers that use the lines of the big ones and it costs a fraction of the price although it probably more than the US. i think i pay just under $60 a month for 40mbs. up. i'll have to up that soon as the internet usage grows with the children.
i was downloading a game one time and had two video chats going and it wasnt working out too good.

40 Mbps! Damn that's slow AF. I can't remember the last time I had 40 Mbps at home lol

Think back in 2012 when I moved in with my wife she had 150Mbps here and that was one of the lower plans. We have 600Mbps now but I didn't request the bump in speeds. It went from 150Mbps to 200Mbps to 300Mbps then to 600Mbps. My bill never changed per say.. They have raised it over the years for their fees (broadcast TV fee / Sports fee bullshit).

it is slow but its worked fine for many years streaming and such. i dont play many online games so it hasnt mattered.

car parts have arrived in town. delivered today. excited.

Yeah as long as it works for you that's all that matters :)

How many kids you got again? I know my niece (8) is always streaming something on her TV or tablet..
