Finally got my pool timer installed. It uses the eco plug app. I cannot get the timer function to work. Also shows the wrong time zone. I should have researched the app before getting the timer dammit. Anyone use this app?

It's a smart switch with a built in timer so I can't do that. I thought of it. It says it's wifi certified. I don't get why I couldn't use another app.
Edit: got it working. Emailed the company. They said to make sure Dst was selected and it started working.

The cabinet has taken a beating from the rain. The one coat of poly wasn’t enough. The lid is pretty much shot.

I'm having a hard time waiting for Tuesday. I couldn't imagine waiting for shipping to Texas, then clear coat and shipping back. But thanks. Lol.

If you give the top another go, you should try something like a marine varnish. It’s made for boats and has uv inhibitors or whatever in it to help keep it looking good. Something like this.

You usually want to try to clear that stuff cause the gel coat oxidizes pretty quick

I’ve used this stuff before to clear carbon parts but still got some yellowing in the part.
Didn’t go with the 2k clear and I had more parts to spray but not all at the same time. 2k paint would of dried up by the time I needed it.

We haven't had nice summer nights with a breeze in a while. And the mosquitos (at least around my area) are BAD! Very bad. Like if you stand outside 2 minutes you will get 15+ mosquitos on you. No joke
