Well.. Bar Harbor, Maine to Baltimore, MD (well a bit east of Baltimore - I don't live in that awful Baltimore City).

668 miles. It took 12.5 hours to get home.

That’s kinda slow. Seattle to my hometown is about 600 miles and it typically only takes 10 hours. You really must be a grandpa.

Definitely not when it comes to driving. I was doing 10-20 mph over when there wasn't slow *******.

Tons of traffic and CT Drivers (MA too) can't drive worth a ****!

Buddy showed me this lol so true.

Pennsylvania drivers are worse. Mass drivers are “Massholes”. CT drivers are just douches.

@FooBird - Since we were talking about mileage/time to travel.

My MIL is going from Baltimore (NOT the city of course) to Blairsville, Georgia today. It's 640 miles and says it "should" take 10 hours 51 minutes with NO stops. You know you have to stop to get gas (at least once) and also stop for a bathroom break/food. And of course the traffic. Le sigh

So that's easily a 12 hour trip with gas, stops and traffic.

was the bmw beeping in protest at being loaded up like that?

Maybe in 30 years. That’s awesome.

I once worked on a project where we attempted a land speed record for a human powered vehicle. We ultimately failed on straight speed, but we won on handling and endurance.

Also reminds me of a temperature limits story I heard in a previous job. When things got hot enough to glow cherry red, it spooked folks. So, from that point on the maximum allowable temperature was set such that things didn’t glow when heated.

Slow pokes!!! That’d get from my house to my brother’s house, almost 800 miles away. But I might drive a little fast…

It's not about driving fast... I do 10-15 mph over the speed limit. I'm not risking getting points (in my state) or fines for going 15+ mph over. It's not worth it.

Also maybe you have less traffic out there where your heading.

Driving through CT and MA was annoying AF. Going 70-75 then down to under 5 mph every mile or so it felt.. :cornmad:
