Official 2013 MLB Thread

My prediction of the Rockies vs. Nationals in the NLCS is mired with .500 teams. Both teams need to stop getting hurt and find their arms. Watching Pomeranz outdo Hanley Ramirez at the moment - wicked bender.

Can't believe it's been 20 years the Rockies have been around.
 
I know, I know. So, I'm a big Rockies fan since their earliest days in 1993. Grew up a Giants fan but left the team at 10 because they were getting rid of their good guys from the late 80s and replacing them with jerk players like Barry Bondo. I also show props to teams who play the game right, drafting and developing good talent (also means I hate the Yankees). Also, have a reason to have two monitors on the PC. Watch and surf.

Hitting up Safeco tonight to catch the Angles (Weaver) vs. Mariners (King Felix).
 
It's about to be August and the Pirates will have the best record in baseball. Am I dreaming? That's now 3 straight wins over the Cardinals and a two and a half game lead in the division.

Still A LOT of baseball left to be played.... but I like where this team is going. Any time they struggle for a 3 or 4 game stretch, they always bounce back. Their pitching is top notch and that will continue to keep them in games no matter how much that offense struggles.

As a Pirates fan who has never seen them have a winning season, let alone make the playoffs, this year has been great so far.

I said the same thing over a month ago. But, we're still at the top.

I could care less if we don't do squat in the playoffs. Or even make them. Just getting over .500 for the first time in 21 years is an amazing enough feeling.

Yeah. Well. We've sorta have become accustomed to streaks good and bad. My prediction from '11 with the Nats vs. Rox in the NLCS is getting shredded by the Braves.
 
Beat St. Louis tonight. Was a good game. Dodgers up 6 games on Arizona now. Tearing it up on the road right now too! It's so fun to see my dodgers doing so good.

We've known Alex Fraudriguez was doping for like 6 or 7 years now. They just pinned it on him...finally. They guy is a scammer in chief, standing next to the liar in chief. Surprised he hasn't said Selig was racist in all of his crying.
