PS - It was not sunny. It was pouring rain, cold and miserable. After all, it's Seattle and the sun NEVER shines. Don't be getting any ideas the weather may ever be nice.

Phillies might sweep Atlanta today. :omg:

Means nothing though. :giggle:

Nats keep winning = closer to Atl. Problem is a 14 game gap with 18 or so games is almost impossible to close up.

PHILADELPHIA — Darin Ruf hit a tiebreaking solo homer in the eighth inning to back a strong outing by starting pitcher Cole Hamels and lift the Philadelphia Phillies to a 3-2 victory and three-game sweep over the Atlanta Braves on Sunday.

Haha. All the Braves fans come out now. :) I do root for the Nationals - so there is a bias. The Braves have done quite well this year. The Nationals under-performed - which seems typical. They BLEW it in the playoffs last year and I guess I was overly hopeful they could make it to the playoffs again under Davy Johnson this year. Guess it's not in the cards.

I am sure they are coming out from everywhere, I have been pulling for them forever. Haven't missed watching but a couple of games this year, I gotta say though this has been a fun team to follow this year.

Rockies are killing me off at the moment. They're under-performing so bad. Fighting it out with SD and SF for who can be the worst in the NL west. However...see those Nats? Them Bucs, Cards and Reds should be scared. The WC is up for grabs and the Nats are charging, down to 5.5 games.
