The way he was wearing his backpack, it is hanging off his right shoulder. Maybe it seemed like he didn't have his backpack on because of how the pic was taken (again hanging off his right shoulder).

The FBI was last night hunting a 12-strong terrorist “sleeper cell” linked to the Boston marathon bomb brothers.
Police believe Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev were specially trained to carry out the devastating attack. More than 1,000 FBI operatives were last night working to track down the cell and arrested a man and two women 60 miles from Boston in the hours before Dzhokhar’s dramatic capture after a bloody shootout on Friday.
A source close to the investigation said: “We have no doubt the brothers were not acting alone. The devices used to detonate the two bombs were highly sophisticated and not the kind of thing people learn from Google. “They were too advanced. Someone gave the brothers the skills and it is now our job to find out just who they were. Agents think the sleeper cell has up to a dozen members and has been waiting several years for their day to come.”
A specialist team of CIA and FBI interrogators was yesterday flown to a Boston hospital to grill wounded Dzhokhar, 19, about the secret group. The University of Massachusetts student was caught on Friday after hiding out in a boat parked in a garden in locked down Watertown the day after a gun battle with police left his 26-year-old brother and a rookie cop dead.

Last time I checked, sporting events don't require military contractors. What's up with that truck? On its roof, I see some sort of radar system (dome looking object) and I don't know what that triangle thing is.

I tried talking to an individual who "couldn't comment", but I get the feeling there were individuals with advanced knowledge of something happening on that day. There were people being heavily interviewed by the fbi for a month prior to the marathon. Those individuals were "russians" around the boston/washington area. The photo above is from well after the bombs went off. I've never looked up what those things are on the van, but they look similar to mobile internet devices that work off satellite. I'd wager it's a similar unit used for secure communication with government satellites.

Among those videos is one dedicated to the prophecy of the Black Banners of Khurasan which is embraced by Islamic extremists—particularly Al Qaeda. The videos posted on what appears to be Tsarnaev’s YouTube page may shed light on the motivations for the attack on the Boston Marathon

I don't like jumping into different religion like that. A lot of my good friends are Muslims. They have a different view point in life and many similarities compared to Christianity (or Catholics like me).
Terrorism isn't Muslim. There's no real definition of the word 'terrorism', but the definition keeps changing every year or some period in time. Terrorism is a psycho's/phychos' mental view point or action (i.e. Virginia Tech, Sandy Hook, Aurora shootings, bombings, etc). That's the way I see it.

I think the media wants them to be Muslim cuz that's what pple think when they think of terrorist, despite many attacks carried out by normal American Caucasian citizens. Smh.

My best friend is muslim, and I went to school with a lot of people of that culture. The media portrays muslims as a culture that believes killing/suicide is a 1 way ticket to heaven...FALSE. I got into a HUGE discussion with my best friend's father who is at a mosque multiple times a day REALLLLLLLLLLY serious about his religion...killing/suicide is the biggest sin in Islam. It is NOT promoted at all, Al Qaeda takes kids from poor homes and teach them that way because they know no better. HBO actually had a special on this where they even interviewed an Al Qaeda leader who explained how Al Qaeda has it's own "teachers" that basically teach the Qu'Ran however they want to..half the kids they teach it to cant even read. Our society in general (the ones lacking education) already has a hatred towards muslims since the "September 11 Attacks" so why not roll with it it we know we can always point our fingers and have a scape goat?? Like Katt Williams said lol tell me what the Al Qaeda uniform looks like..dont worry I'll wait. We're out there killing anything and everything...Bush got indicted for war crimes..you wont see that on the news.
